100th Day Freebie on TPT

Our 100th day is fast approaching, so I am getting the to do list ready.  It should be in about 7 days.  I think I have enough activities that I could do the 100th day the entire rest of the year.  I love the 100th day.  We always do some kind of snack for this special day and sometimes even sneak in a drink.  This year I made some labels that can be used for snacks, drinks, and badges to wear.  We have posted them onto our TPT store as a freebie in hopes that you can use these, too.  Later this week I will post pictures unless I have another snow day...then it will happen earlier.  Here is the direct link to this freebie:  100th Day Freebie.  Enjoy~

We wrapped up our 2D and 3D geometry units last week.  The kids love these 2 units and just love exploring the different shapes in our environment.  One of the activities that we did this week was completing charts to go along with these shapes which is one of the common core standards.

Head on over to our TPT store and get this freebie for your flat and solid shape units.  Click here for your freebie:  2D and 3D Shape Charts
Counting and cardinality with numbers 0-20 will be wrapped up this coming week in math.  Watch for some fun pictures of units and games that we do with these standards.

Five For Friday

I guess I am trying to work REAL hard on my new goal of blogging more and taking more pictures, so here we go...I am linking up with Kasey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching for my first Five For Friday.

Number 1
A few months ago I bought a Silhouette because there was a great deal on it and my friend kept telling me it was awesome.  Now mind you I already own a Cricut with LOTS of cartridges.  So, over break I finally got it out of the box and I am having lots of fun with it!
This was the latest project to get ready for the Orange Bowl tonight.  GO BUCKS!

 Number 2

Well, I shared this picture back in November.  I am proud to say that I am STILL drinking the Diet Coke's from this Diet Coke Tree.  One of my goals for 2014 is to drink LESS!  Well after couple of days, I am doing better since we have been snowed in due to weather!!
 Number 3
WOW!  How do we collect so many centers over the last several years, but I always seem to create more new ones.  Total addiction!!
Headed into school today to start organizing and getting out my January Centers.  They are all made, I just need to do a little organizing to get things ready for this month!  Will post pictures of some of my organizational ideas later this week.

Number 4
One of the table decorations that we were getting read to take to a recent wedding.
My daughter, sister, and I decorate for weddings.  It is so much fun to work with these 2 and it only strengthens our love for each other.  So many laughs and smiles during our preparation for these weddings.

Number 5
I did it!!  Well this year I was bound and determined that I was going to send out Christmas cards with our son's wedding pictures on it.  I didn't make it for Christmas cards, but right before Christmas I got the disc from my son and decided I was going to make Happy New Year cards for everyone.  I am hoping they arrive today so that I can get them sent out.  Of course my husband thinks it's a little cuh-razy to send them out.  I'll share what they look like once I get them.  Thought I got a great deal on them since it was so close to Christmas.

Happy New Year!!
Thanks Kasey for allowing me to share my Five For Friday~

Business Cards Arrived and Valentine Project Almost Done

In about one week, SueBeth and I will be presenting at the Ohio Kindergarten SDE conference in Columbus.  We both like to be organized, so we have been crossing things off of the to do list the last month.  One of the items that we had on our list was to have some business cards available for teachers who want to stay in contact with our blog.
Well, my daughter loves to do these kinds of things, so I threw the clipart items at her along with the information and away she designed.  I love having a daughter who enjoys doing these things!! The cards arrived just this week and here is a quick peek of what the cards look like:
We went with the Busy Bee theme on our cards.   SueBeth has not even seen them yet, so I bet she will be pleasantly surprised that this item has arrived and is off of the to do list.
We met this week to take pictures and place our presentation on powerpoint.  We also made some additional copies of things that we will be offering at our session.  Getting so excited about this next presentation for us.
We don't go back to school until Monday, so my next item is to make sub plans for being out 2 days the following week.
Today was suppose to be the day I went into school with a friend for 2 hours to wrap up things for next week.  We got a lot of snow today so we are on a level 1 which means going to school probably needed to be taken off of my to do list for today.  Since I had a "free" day, I started working on a valentine's day project.  It will be completed by January 13.  Watch for this fun project real soon!!

Currently and YIKES!!

YIKES!!!  One of my goals over break was to get our kitchen table cleaned off so that when family came on New Year's Day it would be cleaned.  Well, I ALMOST made it.  I have just a couple of more things to put away.  We have a long table, so I just left them at the end of the table.  All of it was school things that I kept putting in little neat piles on the table.  Do you all have these little neat piles around your house and at school.  Tomorrow morning I am going into school to tackle some nice neat piles.  I have thrown away a lot, but still have a ton more to go!!

I decided to link up with Farley over at Oh, Boy 4th Grade!

This year one of my personal goals is to take more pictures and blog more consistently!  Hoping that this is one goal that I can definitely improve upon for 2014!!
